The Orlando Magic weren't able to defeat Dwight Howard and his Houston Rockets on Wednesday, falling by a 101-89 final score, but they did get the best of the former Orlando superstar on at least one play.
With 7:06 to play and Orlando trailing by three, Houston enters the ball to Howard on the right block against Kyle O`Quinn, Orlando's burly backup center. Howard faces up, dribbles to the middle, and then spins back to the baseline, a move familiar to Magic fans from his eight-year tenure with the team. O'Quinn sizes the play up beautifully, however, and swats Howard's righty hook attempt before he can even release the shot.
The play drew the loudest ovation of the night from the Amway Center crowd, with some fans even standing to applaud O'Quinn's effort.
O'Quinn finished the night with eight points, eight boards, an assist, a steal, and three blocks.
