Victor Oladipo made another memorable play Tuesday as the Orlando Magic defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 95-85, at Amway Center.
With a little more than four minutes before halftime, Oladipo isolates with a live dribble above the top of the arc as Blazers guard Mo Williams defends him. Oladipo then fakes to his left before turning back to his right and driving hard toward the rim, causing Williams to hit the deck. Oladipo challenges Robin Lopez with a layup, converts it, and draws the foul for a three-point play.
Oladipo's nifty move wowed the fans in attendance and, more importantly, came as part of a 16-0 scoring run Orlando used to take control of the game. The Indiana product finished the night, his fourth straight start at point guard, with 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
