Watch: Maurice Harkless turns defense into offense

The Magic rookie strips Kevin Martin and then races down the floor for a score in this highlight.

Maurice Harkless had arguably the finest game of his young NBA career in Friday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Orlando Magic rookie set career-highs with 25 points and four blocked shots, in addition to posting nine rebounds four steals, as Orlando narrowly fell to the reigning Western Conference champs at home.

In the highlight above, the St. John's product puts together a spectacular sequence on both sides of the ball. Initially, Harkless pressures Thunder guard Kevin Martin on the perimeter, prompting the veteran scoring machine to cough up the ball. Harkless then chases down the loose ball and pushes ahead in transition, eventually using a spin move to shed Martin. He's able to score on the play, bringing the Magic to within two points with 9:40 left in the fourth quarter.
