Watch: Victor Oladipo dunks on Ronny Turiaf

The Magic rookie blows by the Timberwolves' defense and crams on the veteran big man.

Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo scored 14 points Wednesday in the second game of his NBA career, and none of his five baskets was more impressive than the dunk against Minnesota Timberwolves center Ronny Turiaf, embedded above.

On this play, Oladipo motions for Jameer Nelson to clear out so he can make an entry pass to Andrew Nicholson posting up on the right block. After Nelson moves to the weak side, Oladipo attacks as Timberwolves guard Alexey Shved lets him get to his right hand. Kevin Love's strategy of fronting Nicholson works against him, as he has no path to cut Oladipo's drive to the basket. Turiaf makes a valiant effort to protect the rim, but he shows up too late to stop Oladipo's one-handed jam.

Oladipo shot 5-of-14 on Wednesday for 14 points, topping his début total by two. Orlando fell, 120-115, in overtime.
