Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride: Orlando Magic's Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo open attraction

With members of Big Brothers Big Sisters on hand, the Magic youngsters visited the Magic Kingdom to celebrate the opening of its newest attraction.

Wednesday afternoon, Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo and forward Tobias Harris joined members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida in visiting the Magic Kingdom to open its new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride. The attraction, a family-friendly roller coaster based on the classic fim Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, serves as the centerpiece of the theme park's New Fantasyland area. Photos of their visit are embedded in this post.

According to a media release, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train features a "first-of-its-kind ride system" which rocks the ride cars back and forth as they progress through the track.

In 2010, Disney joined the Magic to become a Champions of the Community partner. As part of that arrangement, Disney and the Magic work together to benefit the Central Florida community.

Earlier in May, Magic big man Kyle O'Quinn shaved his signature beard to promote Big Brothers Big Sisters. The organization provides mentoring services to area children. For more information on the Central Florida chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, please visit www.bbbscfl.org.
