Before embarking on the longest roadtrip in team history, the Orlando Magic hosted a basketball camp for about 150 children at the Amway Center practice court. The camp, in which coach Jacque Vaughn and several players served as instructors, took place Saturday. Photos of the action are embedded in this post.
"A kid came up to me and said, ‘You guys act totally different than you do when you play and it’s kind of cool.’ For them to say stuff like that, it’s great," Magic guard Victor Oladipo said, according to John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com. "To be able to change a kid’s life, and do something that they’ll never forget, it’s pretty cool."
Denton's story has more information on the camp.
