The Orlando Magic began a series of community-oriented holiday events Thursday when some team representatives, including players Glen Davis, Kyle O'Quinn, and Hedo Turkoglu, visited the Florida Hospital for Children. "To make someone smile, it’s really important and I’m blessed to be in a position to help children during these times," Davis said, according to Josh Cohen of OrlandoMagic.com. "These are times that these kids will never forget so I am so glad to be here to help in any way I can," O'Quinn said.
STUFF, the Magic Dancers, and community ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw also made the trip.
Other holiday events the Magic have planned include a shopping spree that J.J. Redick and Andrew Nicholson will host and a gift donation that team co-captain Jameer Nelson will make to one local family.
