Hello anyone in Orlando who happens to read this. I am writing this short note to share that our two NBA teams have a similar problem. Both of our rosters seem to lack fire, show similar disinterest in a number of players that could use a change of scenery, which might reinvigorate the rest of this season and the near-future.
The Portland Trail Blazers have a guard and (lacking) a Big Man problem.
What I propose is that our two teams discuss giving CJ McCollum a new home in Orlando, along with Robert Covington and perhaps Enes Kanter and/or Zach Collins along with a young guard named Anfernee Simons. Simons will be dunking in the All-Star Dunk Contest at halftime this weekend.
In trade the Blazers need new blood and big guys. It seems the Portland Trail Blazers are stuck on having too many guards, and a few injured big guys, and the organization doesn't seem to know that Portland fans want to start winning more in the playoffs, and we see through the veneer of shooting too many 3-pointers and not rebounding the basketball.
To help the Blazers win in the playoffs, the team would love to work out a deal for Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, Terrance Ross or/and Evan Fournier. Portland also thinks that Nikola Vucevic would look great in a Trailblazers uniform, but if you want to trade Mo Bamba, that would be cool too.
So, if you folks could help in beginning talks between the Portland Execs and we can get the Orlando Magic and its fans CJ McCollum, Aaron Gordon goes to Portland, the teams swap injureds (Jonathan Isaac for Zach Collins) and you can pick anyone not named Damian Lillard, that would be really great and our playoff run will thank you. Portland would like to hold onto Jusuf Nurkic, but if we get Vucevic and you get Nurkic, super!!!
I'm sure many of you will agree - wouldn't a little change in the faces on the team be great!!! I'll give you a poll too, regarding CJ McCollum, Aaron Gordon, etc.
