Old meets new on the latest Orlando Magic jersey.
The team unveiled its Nike NBA City Edition jersey for the 2021-2022 season on Monday, combining different eras of Magic basketball in celebration of the NBA’s 75th anniversary season.

The orange color, which first made an appearance on the team’s 2019 City Edition jersey, remains. It’s used for the addition of the classic “Magic” font, along with the silver stars originally from the first home jerseys.
The pinstripes come with a special twist. They are formed by the quote “Why not us? Why not now?” made famous in Orlando by late owner Rich Devos.

The orange side panels feature the comet basketball that was part of the team’s original logo, and stars that run down each side, reminiscent of the star-patterned theme of the Tracy McGrady era.

The Magic will first wear their new City Edition jerseys on Nov. 24 when they host the Charlotte Hornets. The jerseys will go on sale on Nov. 15 online and at the Magic team team shop at Amway Center.
The players have already tried them on for size...

Love the jersey. But I’d also love to see the team make the exact one with blue replacing all orange for their permanent jersey.
