For the Celtics, who are unable to field the minimum eight players required by the league due to health and safety protocols, it is their third consecutive game to be postponed. Their scheduled matchup against the Heat last Saturday was postponed after Miami had an inconclusive test and issues with contact tracing. The Celtics then were short players for tonight’s scheduled game against the Bulls, leading to its postponement.
The Magic are also scheduled to play in Boston on Friday, with the status of that game still very much up in the air.

Such is life in the league today. Health and safety must come first.
On the positive side for the Magic, it gives some of their injured players a few extra days to recover.
