Sam brought up the 17.2 million trade exception the warriors have. If they added a player to that from a third team needing to clear cap space they could trade that to Orlando for Gordon.

So Minnesota dumps johnson to clear cap. Warriors trade their #1 pick that will be top 5 plus Johnson for AG, our #15 pick and maybe another asset.

Josh was hesitant anything so great could happen for the Magic but I was excited about the possibility for a return that high!
