Twitter reacts to the Orlando Magic drafting Cole Anthony

Twitter (and Spike Lee) was quite pleased with the Magic selecting Anthony

This time around, there aren’t very many mean tweets. Or punchlines. Or viral memes.

Twitter’s reaction to the Orlando Magic selecting UNC’s Cole Anthony with the 15th pick in the draft was overwhelmingly positive. The reason for that is simple:

The Magic drafted a guard. A guard who can score!

Wingspan, length and defensive ability weren’t the top priorities in this draft for the Magic, who made a selection based simply on need. That, along with Cole’s upside, satisfied a majority of the fanbase.

The tweets, as always, speak for themselves...
