It’s been one helluva season for the Orlando Magic...and also for Magic Twitter.
From offseason to postseason, through good times and bad, with hot or freezing cold takes, the Orlando Magic fanbase has showed their passion through their tweets. (Also be sure to check out our previous “Twitter reacts...” collections from when the Magic made the playoffs and after the Magic’s dramatic Game 1 win)
After the Magic suffered a lopsided loss in Game 5 to the Raptors, bringing an end to their first playoff season since 2012, the emotions poured out on Twitter. From those saying how proud they were of the Magic to those wondering how much money Nikola Vucevic cost himself.
Here are the tweets that were the best of the best...
Thanks for a great season, Orlando.

— Orlando Pinstriped Post (@OPPMagicBlog) April 24, 2025
Ugly end to a successful season. Remember this season, not for how it ended, but for what it was: the most successful season in the post-Dwight Howard era.
For the first time in a long time, Magic fans have optimism heading into the offseason
The #Magic accomplished so much this year. There are questions ahead. But the response to this series is not to tear things down… it is to keep building and keep moving forward. A lot to be excited about here in the City Beautiful.
— y-Orlando Magic Daily (@OMagicDaily) April 24, 2025
Orlando fans. Stay positive. Your team is full of young studs and y’all stole a game in a great performance in Game 1. Gordon looks great. Isaac could be scary. Steve Clifford is trying his damn best. Y’all will be great in a few years. Much love from a torontonian! #respect pic.twitter.com/Cfj2PMTTOM

Nik Vucevic went from 21-12-4 in the regular season to 13-8-4 in the playoffs, and that's while shooting nearly 14% less from the floor.

His agent has to be crying.
Well, glad that’s over.
— The Lando (@TheLando__) April 24, 2025
Created too much negativity for what was an awesome, unforgettable Magic season.
I think the Playoffs certainly highlighted some weaknesses on this team, which could help Orlando make decisions this offseason
Let’s hope this team keeps trending upwards.
It's been a fun season @OrlandoMagic Proud of the guys heart & hustle. I'll miss y'all. Love ya! #PureMagic pic.twitter.com/cwVhqEDFJ2

Despite the final outcome of this series, this season was a very important one for the Magic. This is the kind of season the Magic needed to have to start to turn the corner and move forward in their rebuild. Lot of positive to take out of it.

Definitely not the ending of the series that we wanted for @OrlandoMagic. But there’s still much to be proud of; the team made great strides this season and the future is very bright for the franchise.
— Mayor Buddy Dyer (@orlandomayor) April 24, 2025
This is an extremely tough way to go out for the Magic, but this season as a whole has to be viewed as a positive. Vooch got his all star bid, Isaac is NOT a bust, Clifford is the right guy, and they traded for a number 1 overall pick PG that hasn’t even played. #PureMagic

Good job, good effort Orlando. Really, really well done this season. This series loss is just a learning moment and hopeful stepping stone to bigger and better things to come. Magic fans should be proud of this year and encouraged for the future.

This is just the beginning, and I’m looking forward to riding out the peaks and valleys with y’all.
Certainly not how we wanted it to end but what an incredible season! Seeing Magic pride rip through Central Florida these last few months has been amazing, and it’s only the beginning. It’s a joy and an honor to work with this crew, this team and interact with YOU FANS!!
— Dante Marchitelli (@DanteMagic) April 24, 2025
Orlando have won their division, finished with a winning record, blown out a lot of good teams, and made the playoffs for the first time in 7 years, surpassing every expectation. Might be in the minority but find it hard to be down about the current situation. #PureMagic
— y - Jonathan Murphy (@Jon86murphy) April 22, 2025
Not the ending we wanted but still proud of this team for making the playoffs (and stealing game 1). Excited for Fultz, Bamba and our draft pick to be added to this team next season. It was a wild ride this season but the future is bright with this young core. #PureMagic for life

BIG shoutout to all the fans who brought it this season!
On a positive note, It’s been a fun year Magic fans. We’re finally starting to see progression, JI’s development, coming back from 11 under .500, the playoffs. We’ll be back #PureMagic

The Magic had a better season than anyone expected— including me. Loved watching this team all season and we lost to a very, very good basketball team this series. Praying for a good offseason and we hold on to the players that made me happy in 2018-2019. #PureMagic
