Storyline: The Magic, in the third game of a five-game homestand, seek a third straight win. Trailing Miami by 1.5 games, the Magic have a chance to gain some ground on the Heat, who play at San Antonio. The shorthanded Pelicans, who snapped a six-game losing streak with a win over Dallas on Monday, will be without Anthony Davis (personal) and Jrue Holiday (abdomen). Leading the way will be Julius Randle and former Magic point guard Elfrid Payton, who has recorded five consecutive triple-doubles.
