You would be hard-pressed to find another team in the Eastern Conference as hot as the Orlando Magic right now.
The Magic return home Thursday night after a three-game road-trip in which the team won decisively in each contest. Orlando won all three games by 16 or more points, the first time in franchise history such a feat has been accomplished.
Orlando’s 30-point win over the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday night was the franchise’s first 30-point win on the road since 2009.
The Magic have one more game before the All-Star break, and with this final contest comes a great opportunity to right another wrong before enjoying a week off.
The Magic have dropped thirteen games in a row to the Charlotte Hornets (dating back to 2016), who currently lead the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference by a two-game margin over the Magic.
The Magic and Hornets have played twice already this season, with the Hornets winning both contests by an average of 28.5 points.
