Jonathan Isaac looked taller. Mo Bamba had a new haircut. Markelle Fultz was in uniform.
The Magic assembled for media day on Monday, giving us our first official look at the team as the 2019-2020 nears (well, I guess the second official look after last week’s Fultz update).
With the Magic coming off their first playoff appearance in seven years, and with the added hope generated by the potential of Fultz, the buzz is evident within the organization and fanbase and on social media.
We have gathered some of the highlights of Orlando Magic media day - from tweets to photos to interviews - and delivered them here for you...

Markelle Fultz was just asked whether the goal is for him to play in the Magic’s preseason opener Saturday in San Antonio. He responded by saying playing in the preseason opener indeed is the goal.

The standout line from Magic media day for me was Markelle Fultz speaking emotionally about how much he missed basketball: “Imagine having the thing you love most in the world taken away from you. That’s what happened to me. Now I have it back and will never take it for granted.”

The quote of the day from #Magic Media Day goes to shooting guard Terrence Ross. Speaking about the athleticism of 3rd-year forward Jonathan Isaac:: ..."The way JI moves is unreal. It’s like a giraffe moving like a lion. It’s unreal the way he moves for his size..."

All Magic players talked about their defense and how good it could be. Reminder: Orlando was the #1 defense in the NBA for most of the second half of the season. They've got guys at all 5 spots who can be plus defenders.

Everyone owned the need to be better on offense too.
