For those Magic fans who grew up watching Shaquille O’Neal, Penny Hardaway, Horace Grant and the rest of the mid-90s Magic, today is a very good day.
The classic blue pinstriped jersey is finally back!
As part of the Magic’s 30th anniversary celebration for the 2018-2019 season, the team will periodically wear a nearly identical version of the alternate blue road jersey the team wore from 1994 to 1998, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

Outside of the corporate logos on the jersey, the primary difference will be the old school Magic logo along the waistband.
The Magic will also be introducing a new logo for the 30th season, bringing back the famous ball and stars logo of yesteryear...

In our ranking of the top jerseys in Magic history, the blue pinstriped edition was ranked third, but all three jerseys from that era are pretty much equally amazing, IMO. Robbins pointed out that Bleacher Report ranked the jersey the 19th best in league history.
Take a trip down memory lane with these old school photos.....
