The Magic are moving across the dial.
The team announced on Monday that the new flagship home for the Magic Radio Network will be FM 96.9 The Game. For the last 27 years, before Shaquille O’Neal had even put on a Magic uniform, the Magic have been heard on ESPN 580 Orlando.

“We are extremely excited to continue our relationship with iHeartMedia and expand upon it by naming FM 96.9 The Game our new flagship station for the Magic Radio Network,” said Magic CEO Alex Martins in the press release. “iHeartMedia and FM 96.9 The Game will bring our product to our fans and stakeholders in a first-class manner. We thank ESPN 580 Orlando for 27 excellent years of serving as the radio home of the Magic.”

The press release said that Dennis Neumann will do play-by-play for every game, Richie Adubato will be the color analyst for home games and Brandon Kravitz will host pregame, halftime and postgame as well as sideline reporting duties for home games.
Dante Marchitelli’s “Magic Drive Time” will air on Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and be joined each day by a different co-host, including Magic players and personnel.
After a 27-year run on another signal, the @OrlandoMagic have a new home on the dial. @969thegame will takeover as the club’s flagship station. The benefit: #Magic Drive Time now leads directly into our game broadcasts.
