About the only things in common between Mo Bamba and Giannis Antetokoumpo are long wingpans and the fact that they were both drafted by current Magic GM and former Bucks GM John Hammond.
So, no idea why two very different players would be compared or why this story went viral in the first place. Nevertheless, sharing it just in case you missed it.
During an Instagram Live session on Saturday, Giannis was asked if Mo will be a better player than him....
Giannis Antetokounmpo on IG Live: “‘Do you think Mo is better than you?’ Who the hell is Mo? M-O?”

Off camera: Are they talking about Mo Bamba?
“Oh you mean... HELLL no!! He’s a good kid. He’s a good player. But HELL NO.” pic.twitter.com/W5xRgH4Nyv
To be fair, it seems as if Giannis still didn’t know which “Mo” he was even being asked about when he made the “Hell no!” comment. When it seemed that he finally realized it was Bamba, Giannis said, “He’s a smart kid, good player. He’s going to be really good...He’s going to be a really good fit for Orlando.”
Giannis, who averaged 26.9 points, 10 rebounds and 1.4 rebounds per game last season, later sent out the following tweet...
Just wanted to clear things up because I enjoy sharing funny moments with my fans...Mo Bamba is a great player and Orlando gained an amazing talent! I wish him the best of luck with his future in this talented league! #StayFreaky
