Over the last half-decade or so, the Magic and their fans have enjoyed about one hour of “postseason” excitement each year.
That comes during the NBA Draft Lottery when the lucky bounce of ping pong balls determine the fate of some of the league’s bottom feeders. And that night is tonight.
It has arrived. Tonight is the Orlando Magic's annual NBA Finals: the Draft Lottery

The NBA Draft Lottery is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. Eastern from Chicago. The Suns have the best odds of obtaining the top pick in the with a 25 percent chance. They are followed by Memphis (19.9 percent), Dallas (13.8 percent) and Atlanta (13.7 percent)
Odds for the Magic are as follows:
First pick = 8.8 percent chance
Second pick = 9.6 percent
Third pick = 10.7 percent chance
Fourth pick = 0 percent chance
Fifth pick = 26.2 percent chance
Sixth pick = 35.9 percent chance
Seventh pick = 8.4 percent chance
Eighth pick = 0.4 percent chance
