Two teams fighting for positioning at different ends of the standings

The Magic have reached the end of the road…or at least the end of their road games.

They play their final road game of the season on Monday as they head to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.

It’s a match-up that is crucial for both teams, albeit for very different reasons.

The Magic of course will be playing to win, but they would position themselves much better in regard to their lottery odds with a loss.

The Bucks enter the game tied with Miami for the sixth seed, and a game ahead of Washington for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and will be fighting for positioning (depending on if they’d rather face the banged-up Celtics or the red-hot Sixers). If the Bucks are indeed hoping for a win, doing so gets somewhat more difficult with MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo listed as questionable for the match-up.

The Magic, on the other hand, saw the return of some core members during Sunday’s loss in Toronto. Aaron Gordon, Nikola Vucevic and Terrence Ross were all back in the lineup but it still wasn’t enough to keep the Raptors from easily defeating Orlando.

On Tuesday, Atlanta wraps up their season on Tuesday against Philadelphia and the Mavericks conclude their season against the Suns, so tank enthusiasts know it will be crucial for the Magic to keep pace and give themselves a better chance at a top-three pick.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. Eastern time. Join the conversation below!
