The Magic are back in action Monday night for the back-end of their second back-to-back of the season.
The big story tonight seems to be who’s not here in Cleveland’s locker. This is the first time the Cavs have come to Orlando since franchise cornerstone LeBron James departed to join the Los Angeles Lakers last summer.
Cleveland also dismissed Tyrone Lue (former Magic point guard) from his head coaching duties last week after the team’s 0-6 start.
Cleveland will also be without the services of their All-Star forward Kevin Love, who had surgery last Friday to repair an injured left toe. Love is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
The Magic got hot last night against the Spurs, shooting their way to a season high in points as they defeated San Antonio 117-110. Aaron Gordon led the way for the Magic with 26 points. Rookie Mohamed Bamba recorded his first career double-double off the bench, posting 12 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
