The West Coast trip carries on Wednesday night in Rip City

NBA: Portland Trail Blazers at Orlando Magic Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Two teams will be squaring off Wednesday night looking to get back on track as they carry on their respective drives toward playoff berths. The Portland Trail Blazers, who once sat atop the Western Conference, have dropped their last three contests.

Portland welcomes the Orlando Magic to town, who suffered a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Golden State Warriors Monday night. The Magic were up by 18 in the third quarter, but ultimately they were upended by Kevin Durant and company, 116-110.

The Blazers last played on Sunday, falling to the Los Angeles Clippers in a game where they also blew a double-digit lead in the second half.

This is the second and final meeting between this two clubs this season. In late October, the Blazers traveled to Orlando and came away with a 128-114 victory. Remarkably, All-Star guard Damian Lillard scored 34 of his 41 points against the Magic in the second half of that contest.
