The Magic are back in action Friday night as they are set to host the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are led by two former Orlando Magic players, Marcin Gortat and Tobias Harris.
Gortat, who played 175 games for the Magic over the course of four seasons, has started all eight games for the Clippers this season. He’s averaging 3.6 points and 5.5 rebounds.
Harris, who played 205 games for the Magic over four seasons, currently leads the Clippers in both points (21.3) and rebounds (8.5).
Of course, the Clippers are coached by Doc Rivers, who’s also a familiar face in Central Florida. Rivers coached the Magic from 1999 to 2003.
The Magic are looking Friday night to snap a three-game losing streak and snag their first win at home since Opening Night.
