Not as much outer space on the latest Magic jersey.
The Orlando Magic unveiled the latest City Edition jersey on Thursday, with the primary difference from last season’s edition being the toned down night sky design. The starry look that covered a majority of the jersey last season has been replaced with a solid black design with the stars running along the side of the jersey. The secondary logo and slightly off-center numbers remain.
Dream Beyond Limits. Reach for the Stars. Believe in Magic.

Opinions on last season’s City Edition jerseys varied widely. They came in at No. 7 on our all-time Orlando Magic jersey ranking, primarily because of the use of the alternate logo. IMO, the scaled-back starry sky and more subtle look is an improvement.
The jersey, which the Magic said “celebrates Orlando as a city of dreamers” and symbolizes “reaching beyond the limits,” will be debuted on November 14 when the Magic host the Philadelphia 76ers.
