Both are tall. Both wear pinstripes. Both are named Aaron.
And they already look like one another.
So, it didn’t take much for Aaron Gordon to transform into Aaron Judge on Tuesday for Halloween Eve. Gordon arrived at Amway Center for Tuesday’s Magic/Kings wearing a full Yankees uniform, including Judge’s No. 99 jersey and a batting helmet.
Judge responded to Gordon’s Instagram post, saying “Love it!!” The YES Network, which broadcasts Yankees games, also commented: “Had to look twice to make sure it wasn’t the real @thejudge44.”
Spot-on costume for AG. No word on if Judge was walking around New York City in a double-zero Aaron Gordon jersey.
And with the way the Magic have been shooting as a team of late, if the 6-7 Judge can consistently hit an outside jumper, they may want to put him in a Gordon jersey and give him a few minutes a game.
