Arron Afflalo’s punch was much like many of the shots he has taken this season: it missed.
Shortly after Timberwolves’ power forward Nemanja Bjelica and Afflalo received double technicals in the second quarter of Tuesday’s game, things got heated. As Bjelica moved in for the rebound, he charged into Afflalo, who shoved him and then swung a wild right hook that sailed over the head of 6-10 big man. Bjelica then put the normally reserved Afflalo into a head lock before teammates and refs separated them.

Both Afflalo and Bjelica were ejected.
The scuffle was uncharacteristic of the 32-year-old Afflalo, a 10-year vet. Perhaps the long season, in which he is averaging just 3.2 points on a career-low 38.8 percent shooting, or the Magic’s losing ways finally broke him.
There is rage in those eyes...
