Orlando Magic add Adetunji Adedipe to front office

Adedipe will work with Orlando’s G League affiliate in Lakeland.

The Orlando Magic announced last Monday it has hired Adetunji Adedipe to their front office as Orlando Magic basketball operations/Lakeland Magic assistant general manager.

The Ohio University product has experience working at the nearby IMG Academy, where he assisted in pre-draft workouts. In September 2015, Adedipe joined the Magic as a basketball operations associate. A year later, he worked with the Erie BayHawks as their basketball operations coordinator.

Adedipe’s NCAA career spanned 63 appearances across three seasons, though he played sparingly. The Cleveland native owns two degrees from Ohio University, including a master’s in comparative politics.

The Magic purchased the BayHawks in December 2016 with the intention of relocating the club closer to Orlando. The club, now called the Lakeland Magic, will begin play in the 2017/18 season.

Adedipe joins Anthony Parker, a former NBA player and longtime Magic scout, in Lakeland’s front office. Stan Heath will coach the team.
