All right OPPers we have discussed the outgoing GM and his deal adnauseum which I think is important because if you don't know your history you will repeat it but let's move on to the new GM and who that might be shall we.

The best article I've seen so far is this one from Basketball Insiders. They delve into some of the rumored candidates. They also address the Doc Rivers thing and link him more to the possibility of buying the team one day when the DeVos family wants to sell which is the first i've heard of it but I fully endorse that sale!

Candidates they mention include: Pat Garrity, Bob Myers, Travis Schlenk, David Morway, Kevin Pritchard, Jeff Weltman, David Griffin, and Gersson Rosas.

I'm of the opinion that we need to go with someone experienced and make them President of Basketball Operations and GM and Let Alex Martins focus on non basketball decisions. Unfortunately We are in such a sad state of affairs that a first time GM candidate like our current Matt Lloyd or Pat might be all we can attract but I sure hope not.

So I have a question for you what is more important to you Experience and the baggage that comes with it or a fresh face and new ideas?

My personal pick from that list would probably be David Morway. He has experience multiple places and a background with Vogel which if we are keeping him seems like a plus. How about you, who do you like?
