Can the Magic go for three in a row?

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Charlotte has proven to be a challenging matchup for the Magic all season, in many ways representing the better version of what the Magic want to be. Even in the midst of a death spiral in the second half of the season, they were able to handle the Magic easily last time these two teams played. Orlando has their work cut out for them if they want to win three games in a row for the first time in a very long time.

Jeff Green will be out tonight dealing with back spasms, and Frank Vogel said pregame that the Magic will be experimenting with playing Mario Hezonja at the 4-spot tonight. Given his 6'9" frame, it's plausible that he could handle bigger power forwards, but it's unclear that he has to strength to handle them near the paint and be a factor on the boards.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 7PM Eastern time in the Amway Center. You can catch it on Fox Sports Florida, or on the radio at AM 580 Orlando.
