Shabazz Napier is on his way out of Orlando.
As first reported by Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, the Magic are trading the reserve guard to the Portland Trail Blazers for cash considerations. The Magic previously acquired Napier from the Miami Heat in exchanged for a conditional second round pick.

Napier, who was drafted by the Heat, is entering his third year in the league. During last season, his only in Orlando, he was asked to fill in for an injury-plagued point guard corps. The results were mixed, as Napier struggled to adapt to the pro game.
After the reported signing of free agent D.J. Augustin, it seems that the Magic are happy with a rotation featuring only Elfrid Payton, Augustine, and veteran C.J. Watson, who was limited to only 33 games last year due to injury.
