In need of depth on the wing, the Orlando Magic began making calls on Thursday night.
According to Basketball Insiders Alex Kennedy, the Magic showed interest in former Los Angeles Clippers swingman Jeff Green. Green started his career in Oklahoma City when Rob Hennigan was part of the organization's scouting department.

The Magic having interest in Green should come as no surprise. With a need on the wing, and the want to add more versatile players, Green makes a lot of sense.
Green is an inconsistent shooter, however, so he'd likely be tabbed to come off the bench where the Magic expect to have more consistent shooting.
Adding Green at the right price wouldn't be the worst thing the Magic could do. He brings some more veteran leadership, as well as the aforementioned positional versatility that the Magic continue to look to add. His shooting is an issues, but could be covered up as a reserve.
