As early as March, the Orlando Magic were linked with then soon-to-be free agent swing man Chandler Parsons.
On Thursday night, just hours before the opening of free agency, Bleacher Report's Howard Beck reported that Parsons, who is seeking a max, or close-to-max deal, was eyeing the Magic, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies.
Chandler Parsons is eyeing Lakers, Blazers, Grizz and Magic, per league source, and aiming for close to max money. Not going back to DAL.

Parsons having interest in the Magic is no surprise, considering previous reports. The 27-year-old was born in the greater Orlando area, and went to high school at Lake Howell, before going to the University of Florida for college.
Coming off of back-to-back seasons ended by knee injuries, the Magic's interest in Parsons should be limited. While he would fit in and give them a much needed boost on the perimeter, the knee issues are a big red flag, especially for a team who can't afford to spend that money and not get the contributions they need.
Overall, Parsons interest isn't surprising, but with the red flags, the likelihood of him coming home to Orlando should be slim.
