Losers of three straight, the Orlando Magic look to turn things back around when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks on Tuesday night.
Coming off a successful road trip, the Magic ran out of gas, dropping games to the Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets and Denver Nuggets last week. Finishing a grueling stretch of eight games in 12 nights, including four in five to finish the stretch, the Magic looked lifeless for stretches on both ends of the floor, and couldn't mount any momentum defensively, an area they had been playing exceptionally well in.
They were able to get a practice in on Monday, and the main focus was defense, which shouldn't be a surprise given their struggles on that end last week. Injuries continue to be an issue, with Nikola Vucevic a game-time decision, and Bismack Biyombo nursing a shoulder injury.
Game time is set for 7:30 PM Eastern at Philips Arena. The game can be seen on FoxSports Florida, and heard on ESPN580 Orlando.
