Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic game time, TV schedule and more

The Magic kick off the 2016/17 season at home against their in-state rival Heat.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Opening night is finally here! The Orlando Magic kick off their 2016/17 campaign with a date against their in-state rival Miami Heat.

It will be an emotional night at the Amway Center as the Magic honor the victims of the senseless Pulse Nightclub shooting from June. The team will hold a moment of silence, and raise a 49 banner honoring the 49 people who passed away.

With nine new players on the roster, the Magic are still working on integrating some important pieces, but will be without one of those key new pieces against the Heat. Bismack Biyombo will miss the game serving a one game suspension for an accumulation of flagrant foul points in last years playoffs. With Biyombo out, Serge Ibaka will serve as the team's backup center, with camp invitee Arinze Onuaku serving as the emergency center.

Game time is set for 7:00 PM at the Amway Center. TV coverage begins with a special one hour edition of Magic Live on FoxSports Florida at 6 PM. The game can also be heard on ESPN 580 Orlando.
