Rob Hennigan: "We'll be very active in our discussions"
Hennigan: We’ll be very active in our discussions. It’s our job to constantly search for ways to improve the team. It doesn’t mean that those discussions will necessarily lead to action. We’re in a position where a lot of teams like our players, and so we’ll certainly have options. If something makes sense for us, we’ll be aggressive. But it needs to make sense for both the long and short terms. So we’ll stay equally as disciplined in our decision-making as we are active in our discussions.
OS: Let’s say the team had now won eight of its last nine games. Would that make you more inclined to make a move? And, similarly, now that the team has lost eight of nine, are you more inclined to make a move?
Hennigan: Again, I think it’s about making the right move and it’s about us making sure that we’re diligent in exploring options but also staying true to our plan and our vision and the belief that we have in our players that are currently on the roster.
