With the fifth pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic selected Mario Hezonja.
Hezonja, a 6-foot-8 wing from Spain, has played two professional seasons for Barcelona in the Spanish League. In 31 games last season, the sharp shooting Hezonja averaged a mere 4.7 points 1.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, while knocking down 46.7 percent of his shots from the field.
Hezonja joins a group of wings that include Victor Oladipo, Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon and Tobias Harris, should the team re-sign him this summer. Hezonja has the ability to play both shooting guard and small forward, giving the Magic even more versatility with their roster.
While there's some questions about his commitment level on the defensive end, he's an extremely talented offensive player, and with time, could become a solid defender in the league.
Barring any trades, the Magic's only other selection tonight will come in the second round at 51.
