Like everyone else here it seemed to me that Skiles was a done deal and they must just be working on details. Then a few days go by what's taking so long? I thought maybe Hennigan is resisting it doesn't seem like the hire he would make then I see this story today by Marc Stein:

Basically the Bulls are now thinking of cutting Thibs because no one is giving what they are asking. I wouldn't put it past the front office too use the great relationship with Skiles to float a story out there to make it look like they are moving on only to swoop in and get who they really want Thibs....
