The Orlando Magic open their last homestand of the 2014/15 season Wednesday when they take on the Chicago Bulls at Amway Center.
Tipoff between Orlando and Chicago is set for 7:00 PM Eastern. Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM will offer live coverage in the Orlando market.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic swept a two-game, back-to-back roadtrip Friday by rallying past the Milwaukee Bucks, 97-90. Tobias Harris, acquired from Milwaukee at the 2013 NBA trade deadline, stole the show, scoring 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting to go with 10 boards, leading the team in both those categories. Orlando rookies Elfrid Payton and Aaron Gordon turned in strong performances as well, with Payton posting 10 points and 11 assists while Gordon chipped in 10 points and 12 boards off the bench. Ersan Ilyasova led Milwaukee with 18 points.
Chicago's last time out: Despite a 24-point outburst from Mike Dunleavy, the Bulls fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a 99-94 final on Easter Sunday. Dunleavy led five Bulls in double-figure scoring, and Aaron Brooks added 17 points and six assists in relief of the injured Derrick Rose, but Chicago simply couldn't overcome Cleveland's firepower. Kyrie Irving, J.R. Smith, and LeBron James combined for 71 points on 24-of-53 shooting, blitzing the Bulls from the perimeter.
The last meeting: Orlando rallied from a 16-point deficit against the Bulls on February 8th, but squandered a lead which stood at five points with 32 seconds to play. Pau Gasol slammed in a Rose miss at the nine-second mark to provide he final margin and to cap a 25-point, 17-board night. Victor Oladipo led six Magic players in double-digit scoring with 18 points.
