Owing to soreness in his right knee, Tobias Harris will not suit up for the Orlando Magic in their game Monday against the Washington Wizards, reports John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com. The rookie Aaron Gordon will start at small forward in Harris' stead.
Harris played in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bulls, posting 15 points and eight boards in 39 minutes. On the season, the fourth-year forward is averaging 17.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and two assists.
Monday's start will mark the sixth of Gordon's professional career. In his previous five starts, Gordon has played 23.4 minutes, averaging 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds. Though Gordon missed 34 games due to a broken bone in his left foot, Orlando coach James Borrego said Sunday that Gordon now has no limits on his minutes.
The Magic tip against the Wizards at 7:00 PM Eastern.
