Tobias Harris to wear a microphone for Orlando Magic's game against Los Angeles Lakers

Fox Sports Florida announced Monday that Tobias Harris would wear a microphone during the Orlando Magic's game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

While players wearing microphones during gameplay is commonplace during national telecasts, it's rare for local ones. According to Fox Sports Florida, Harris will become just the fourth NBA player mic'd up for a local telecast in the 2014/15 season.

Harris is enjoying another solid season in pinstripes, averaging a career-best 17.1 points while hauling in 6.5 rebounds and dishing 2.1 assists. The Tennessee product has made 40 starts in 45 total appearances.

Tipoff between the Magic and the Lakers is set for 7:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30.
