NBA All-Star Saturday Night 2015 open thread

The sharp shooters and the high flyers come out as All-Star Saturday night is upon us.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Arguably the most exciting night during the NBA's All-Star weekend is upon us. All-Star Saturday night kicks off at 8 PM Eastern on TNT. Leave any thoughts you may have on the events in this open thread.

The Orlando Magic will be represented in two of the night's four events. Rookie Elfrid Payton, coming off a two point, three assist, three rebound performance in the Rising Stars Challenge, will be put up to the test in the Taco Bell Skills Competition. Payton, who originally wasn't scheduled to be in the event, took the place of injured Philadelphia 76ers point guard Michael Carter-Williams on Thursday.

Payton's backcourt mate, second-year man Victor Oladipo, will represent the Magic in the night's biggest event: the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. It will be Oladipo's first appearance, and the fifth by a Magic player, joining the likes of Otis Smith, Nick Anderson, Darrell Armstrong and Dwight Howard as participants.

The four events, in order, will be: Shooting Stars, Skills Competition, Three-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest. Below you can see the fields for all the events.
