Nikola Vucevic leaves game against Rockets with knee injury

The fifth year center went down after suffering a non-contact knee injury.

The Orlando Magic will likely be without center Nikola Vucevic for the remainder of their game against the Houston Rockets following a non-contact knee injury to the Magic's man in the middle.

Early in the third quarter, Vucevic, who had just caught a pass from Victor Oladipo, went to plant his right leg to make a move on Rockets big man Dwight Howard, before his knee appeared to buckle, with Vucevic dropping the ball and immediately hobbling away in pain.

The fifth-year big man fell to the court in clear pain following a generous foul call on Howard. Vucevic, who was quickly surrounded by teammates, was attended to by Magic trainer Keon Weise. After a timeout by the team, Vucevic gingerly walked off under his own power, and proceeded to go back to the Magic's locker room after a brief moment on the bench.

Prior to exiting the game, Vucevic had tallied six points, two rebounds and two assists.
