Magic at Nuggets: Slumping Orlando takes to the road again

The Orlando Magic embark on a tough roadtrip Wednesday as they visit the Denver Nuggets.

Tipoff between Orlando and Denver is set for 9:00 PM. Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM will offer live coverage in the Orlando market.

Orlando's last time out: Orlando trailed by as much as 23 points in its 98-90 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, their third straight overall and 10th in their last 14. Kemba Walker torched Orlando once again, finishing with 30 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist tallied a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double as Charlotte prevailed despite not having Al Jefferson or Lance Stephenson available. The Magic got 21 points from Victor Oladipo, as well as 20 points and 10 boards from Nikola Vucevic.

Denver's last time out: The Nuggets earned their second straight win Monday over the woeful Minnesota Timberwolves, riding an 18-point performance from former Magic swingman Arron Afflalo. The Nuggets shot 54.8 percent from the floor, meeting little resistance from the host Timberwolves.

Last season: Denver swept the two-game series from Orlando, capping it with a 120-112 victory on the Magic's home floor on March 12th. Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler, and J.J. Hickson all eclipsed the 20-point mark, and Ty Lawson added a 17-point, 12-assist double-double. For Orlando, Afflalo scored an efficient 24 points, and Vucevic contributed 20 points and 16 rebounds.
