I'd like to extend profound congratulations to Tyler Lashbrook, who is leaving Orlando Pinstriped Post effective immediately to take an internship with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tyler joined OPP in May 2013 and quickly established himself as one of the most thoughtful and incisive young writers covering this beautiful game. In his year-plus with us, he produced some of our best work. I find it fitting that his most recent story, this in-depth breakdown of how the Orlando Magic might use Channing Frye, also stands as his best. Tyler improved his craft, story by story, during his tenure with us.

Tyler couldn't write this post himself, but he did ask me to make it clear to the OPP community "I will miss them very much."

We'll miss you too, dude.

Please join me in congratulating Tyler on his new gig, and thanking him for the insight he provided as a member of the OPP team.

Keep up with all of our Magic coverage
