Citing "sources," Sports Talk Florida reporter Mary Stevens writes former Orlando Magic combo guard E`Twaun Moore will continue his NBA career with the Chicago Bulls. He is expected to sign there "in the next few days."
Prior reports from other outlets indicated that Moore was set to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but Stevens calls those reports "false."
Moore, 25, joined the Magic after a rookie season with the Boston Celtics. In two Orlando seasons, the Purdue product averaged 7.1 points, two rebounds, and 2.1 assists filling in at both guard slots, primarily off the bench. The Magic elected to allow Moore to become an unrestricted free agent.
Once he inks his new deal, Moore figures to vie with Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks for minutes backing up Derrick Rose in the Bulls' backcourt.
