The Orlando Magic announced Wednesday the signings of Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton, the team's first-round selections in the 2014 NBA Draft. Citing team policy, the Magic did not disclose the value of the contracts, but they are governed by the league's rookie scale.

Orlando selected Gordon with the fourth pick in the Draft. The 18-year-old averaged 12.4 points, eight rebounds, and two assists as an Arizona freshman. For his performance, he was named to the All-Pac 12 First Team and earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors as well.

Payton arrived in Orlando via a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, who picked him 10th overall. The Louisiana-Lafayette product averaged 19.2 points, six rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 2.3 steals in his junior season, leading the Ragin' Cajuns to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005. He stands as the Lefty Driesell National Defensive Player of the Year for the 2013/14 season.

Gordon and Payton are set to participate in the 2014 Orlando Pro Summer League, which event tips off Saturday.
