Aaron Gordon has stayed busy since his freshman season at Arizona ended. After taking part in the 2014 NBA Draft Combine and the entire pre-Draft process, Gordon joined the Orlando Magic with the fourth overall pick and played for their Summer League team earlier in July. And he's stayed active off the floor as well, inking a deal to wear Nike brand shoes and apparel for the 2014/15 season and possibly beyond. That news comes from ESPN scribe Jeff Goodman.
Gordon joins Dewayne Dedmon, Evan Fournier, Channing Frye, Ben Gordon, Maurice Harkless, Tobias Harris, Kyle O'Quinn, and Nik Vučević among Magic players to sport the swoosh. Victor Oladipo, the Magic's top Draft choice in 2013, signed with Jordan Brand.
Gordon posted per-game averages of 12.4 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and 1.9 combined steals and blocks as a Wildcat. With the Magic's summer squad, he averaged 7.8 points, five rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
