NBA D-League tryouts: Orlando Magic, Erie BayHawks announce tryout dates

New, comments

The teams will host one tryout day each in Orlando and Erie.

In conjunction with the Erie BayHawks, their NBA D-League affiliate, the Orlando Magic announced Monday dates and details for BayHawks free-agent tryouts.

The Orlando tryout is scheduled for September 14th at Barnett Park. On September 21st, the BayHawks will host a tryout at Penn State-Behrend's Junker Center in Erie. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the tryouts get underway at 9 AM.

To try out for the BayHawks, entrants must submit a $150 fee and complete a registration form, available at ErieBayHawks.com or from the BayHawks' front office.

Magic personnel will be on hand to evaluate both tryout dates.

The Magic and BayHawks officially announced their single-affiliation, hybrid partnership on May 19th. Orlando will run the BayHawks' basketball operations but does not maintain ownership of the team.
