Former Arizona Wildcat forward Aaron Gordon earned the eighth spot on the community board, taking 42 percent of the vote and edging out Croatian combo forward Dario Saric, who netted 34 percent of the vote.
Gordon is an athletic, defensive-minded combo forward with very good vision and ball-handling ability. He has issues with his with jumper and I wrote a lot about that and much more here, as part of an ongoing scouting series for the SB Nation front page.
Former Creighton forward Doug McDermott finished third with eight percent of the vote, while former Syracuse point guard Tyler Ennis and former Michigan shooting guard Nik Stauskas tied for fourth with four percent. Kyle Anderson, Adreian Payne and Gary Harris each knotted two percent a piece. Rodney Hood took the other one percent.
Saric is the favorite here for ninth, but it's really a toss up after that. There are several different options behind Saric and whoever you vote for probably has something to do with the direction you hope the Magic go with the No. 12 pick.
Remember: You have until Noon ET on Wednesday to get your vote in, so make it count! This is what the board currently looks like:
1. Joel Embiid
2. Andrew Wiggins
3. Jabari Parker
4. Dante Exum
5. Julius Randle
6. Noah Vonleh
7. Marcus Smart
8. Aaron Gordon
